You can also visit the Grotte des Merveilles, which is a listed building. Visit the imposing Chateau de Fenelon in the heart of the Perigord Noir, between Sarlat and Souillac. A short drive from here you will find the famous Gouffre de Padirac with its underground river and huge cave. Hiking enthusiasts will be delighted by this magnificent region with its numerous marked hiking trails.
