“We arrived at the mountain top site in early evening. A group of 10 adults, we were greeted immediately by our host, Raffaele, and guided through the 3 story home. Raffael explained how to operate the heating system and stove and suggested local places for a meal. We drove up to the recommended restaurant and had delicious appetizers, pizza, desserts and wine as well jovial conversation with local residents! The home itself was very clean and comfortable. On The first floor was an up to date kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator and microwave. It was fully stocked with glasses, silverware, plates, bowls, pots and pans and cooking utensils along with breakfast treats and water. There was a full bath that included a washing machine (clothes lines for drying washed items are on the patios). Raffaele included cleaning supplies and detergent. He also set the house up with free WiFi. The second floor had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink, tub, no shower but the facet included a shower head with a flexible hose. One bedroom had a crib and a queen bed, the other had 4 twin beds. The third floor had 2 bedrooms and a bath with toilet, bidet, sink and shower, no tub. One bedroom had a double bed and a twin bed. The other bedroom had 2 twin beds and a crib. Both bedrooms had a wardrobe for storage. Heat is provided by radiators that fill with hot water from the heating system on the main floor. A separate system heats water for showers and dishes. Flooring throughout the house is tile. All beds had clean sheets, pillows, and blankets. Each room also had a supply of towels. Bathrooms had cleaning materials, and toilet paper. We stayed for several days so we purchased more toilet paper, paper towels and, since we used all the detergent, renewed the detergent supply. We also prepared a few meals and morning espresso so we can say the stove and microwave worked very well. We have stories about getting up and down the mountain as well as communicating is broken Italian. In general though, the view from the mountain top home is stunning, even on a cloudy, rainy day. Local residents welcomed us, patiently iterpreting our patchy Italian (all of them were such wonderful, generous people, we wanted to stay!) and invited us to their New Year’s celebrations with a fabulous 10 course meal. It was an amazing and fun experience! Bravissimo, Rafaele, complimenti per il lavoro!”

“Un très beau séjour dans cette maison au sommet d'une montagne. Magnifique vue, rue tranquille. Accès à pied à des commerces de proximité. Maison complètement équipée avec chauffage central efficace, cuisine complète, équipements pour bébé, lave -linge, etc... Hôte accueillant et disponible tout en étant discret. Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps car on se sentait très confortable. Merci Raffaele”

“Wir waren zwei Wochen in diesem schönen großen Haus.Es war ein sehr sehr schöner Urlaub in Falerna. Das Haus liegt ruhig am Rande des Dorfes. Man erreicht den Dorfkern ganz einfach über eine Treppe, die direkt hinauf führt.Hier erlebt man noch das alte, echte Italien. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und alles war sauber und ordentlich.Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen.Unser Ehebett hatte ein neue ,sehr bequeme Matratze. Unser Vermieter Raffaele hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen und uns sogar vom Flughafen abgeholt.Er war während des ganzen Aufenthaltes immer ansprechbar und hat uns jeden Wunsch sofort erfüllt,unsere kleine Tochter war ganz vernarrt in ihn. Kurzum, wir können diesen wunderbaren Ort uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.”

“Una casa molto bella con personalità . Il mare e a pochi km. Qui c'è un supermercato di medie dimensioni, negozi di frutta e verdura, un'ottima pasticceria e ristoranti e una lunga passeggiata con piccole bancarelle. Qui ci sono anche molti accessi alla spiaggia infinita e ampia. La terrazza è un sogno. Ti siedi all'ombra tutto il giorno sotto l'enorme pino e guardi il giardino ricco di specie con fichi, mirabelle, crocchette, limoni, noci, vino, cactus, palme ... A causa della ricca vegetazione, il suono è così smorzato e ti senti così "nel Giardino dell'Eden" che presto non se ne accorsero. Di sera e di notte (quasi) senza traffico. La casa è molto personale, ma non è sovraccaricata. È molto pulito e ben tenuto, e ci siamo subito sentiti a casa. E 'ben attrezzata con un buon letto, divano, bagno piacevole, cucina con fornello a gas, forno, tostapane, ecc. Wi-Fi disponibile. Siamo stati calorosamente accolti dalla nostra famiglia ospitante. Hanno aperto le loro porte e il cuore a noi, ma hanno anche rispettato pienamente il nostro bisogno di riposo. In pochi minuti si guida nel bellissimo entroterra collinare intorno a Falerna o in circa 10 minuti lungo la costa a nord nei posti assolutamente da vedere Belmonte, Fiume Freddo e San Lucido. Abbiamo davvero apprezzato la nostra vacanza con Raffaele e ci siamo ripresi molto bene. Torneremo di sicuro.”
