Le Cayrol is a small village 10 km north of Espalion, towards the Massif Central. In this peaceful environment awaits you the charming vacation home, ideal to experience Aveyron with its volcanic elevations. Situated away from the main road and with great views of green pastures, the vacation property is ideally suited for a relaxing vacation. The house in the typical architectural style of the region is simply but comfortably furnished and has a tastefully modernized bathroom. The garden is completely enclosed and is only for your use. Visit Puy de Montabès (25 km) and walk through valleys and gorges, first of all the gorge of the Lot with its beautiful lakes, such as Lac de la Selves (22 km). The famous Way of St. James passes through Aubrac (25 km) and Espalion, and if you travel in May, you may be able to participate in the Transhumance Festival. Espalion is a picturesque, lively town on the Lot River. Its stone bridge over the river has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Incidentally, the diving suit was invented here, so logically Espalion also has a museum dedicated to it, the Musée du Scaphandre. Laguiole (14 km), known worldwide for its knives, is a ski resort with 50 km of alpine ski slopes and 11 lifts and cable cars. After an active day of hiking, skiing, canoeing or biking, what could be better than relaxing in a spa? This possibility you have a little further north or in Chaudes-Aigues (43 km). In Rodez (40 km) you can visit the high situated and from far away recognizable Château de Calmot d'Olt and also the Trou de Bouzouls, an interesting geological formation. Rodez also boasts an impressive cathedral and a museum displaying works by French artist Pierre Soulages. The stairs to the second bedroom are not very wide.
