Set amidst a large, well-kept private garden, this is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom luxury villa featuring a private swimming pool, 4-person indoor jacuzzi and a furnished pergola with BBQ area. Built on the hilltop at the foot of the Venetian village of Maroulas, you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the Cretan sea and countryside. Villa interior:
- a two-storey villa consisting of a living space of about 180 square meters.
- On the ground floor you will find a large open-plan sitting and dining area with fireplace offering panoramic sea views and access to pergola featuring furnished BBQ area. The sitting area also includes a double sofa bed. This floor also features a fully-equipped kitchen with latest amenities and a bathroom with 4-person indoor jacuzzi.
- On the first floor you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom features an en-suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, private office and large balcony offering panoramic sea views. The second and third bedrooms share a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool and also offer sea views.

Villa exterior:
- the villa is set within an olive grove of about 3000 square meters and consists of several olive trees as well as orange trees. With lush gardens planted with rare trees and flowers, a furnished pergola with BBQ area, and a large 55 m2 private swimming pool, you will find plenty of wide open spaces to spend some quality time with your family!
- Villa features a private garage and a garden shed.
- Due to its elevated position the villa offers panoramic sea views as well as views of the surrounding rural landscape and mountains from the gardens.

Guest access

Guests have the entire property to their private use including the olive grove! There are no shared areas!

Upon your arrival we will give you a thorough orientation of the villa, the local area and, of course, the best places to visit in Crete. Situated 150 meters above the sea level in the fertile river valley, offering panoramic views of the Cretan Sea to its inhabitants, the Venetian village of Maroulas lies 7 kilometers east of the town of Rethymno. A timeless village, Maroulas is littered with monuments that can take you back in time. At first, the existence of the Minoan civilization is evidenced by the Minoan cemetery with the carved graves, which is located only 700 m west of the village. When the Venetians conquered Crete, they used their architectural knowledge to build towers, watchtowers, mansions, barracks and oil presses. During the Ottoman conquest, Ottomans added their own oriental touch in Venetian architecture. All these foreign elements were combined harmoniously with the elements of Cretan tradition.

The slow-moving, romantic town of Rethymno that still preserves much of its Venetian and Turkish appearance is only 7 kms away. From gourmet to traditional, Rethymno offers more than 200 eateries to choose from and also has a very active nightlife with its sea-front cocktail bars open till late in the evening.
