Stylishly furnished historical house of Sweden
Visit a historical Swedish house which was formerly one of 3 or 4 houses on the edge of the Rönne, near the sea. The Vindåsen villa is not in the locality, but about 3km outside of it just before the Rönne river estuary into the sea, where there is a sports boat harbour with modern facilities and a beach hotel right by the beach with a restaurant. You can see the sea and beach about a kilometre away from Villa Vindåsen.Romantic holiday house with a charmingly planted garden, near the sea and the beach, in a picturesque location on a slope – explore the natural beauty and fabulous beaches on foot or by bike and enjoy the residential comfort of a high standard with your family or friends
The house is in a lovely garden with roses and hydrangeas. Outdoor furniture, a grill and a croquet set are available. Three bicycles are available for exploring the area.
Villa Vindåsen was built in 1908 as a summer house for a wealthy merchant family from Helsingborg. It is in a picturesque location on a slope right above the little Rönne river and within sight of the sea. The sea here is an extended Kattegat sea bay with wide, white sandy beaches on its shores, the Skälderviken. Opposite there is Kullaberg, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Sweden. The house of around 260m² is something very special, with plenty of the original preserved charm of the Swedish art nouveau and two romantic fireplaces, as well as a conservatory. It also has a modern kitchen with a large family fridge and a double gas and electric stove. You can relax in the tastefully furnished bedrooms with comfortable beds of a new standard. Note that the second bedroom has a youth bed/alcove bed. A cot is also available. The terrace, balconies and several rooms afford a view of the sea about 1km away and the Rönne river (200 metres). There are four bathrooms with underfloor heating, a washing machine and dryer.
It is five to ten minutes by bike to the beach from the villa. You can get to other fabulous beaches on the so-called gold coast and the cliffs of Kullaberg in 15-30 minutes by car. The inland area is a slightly undulating and very charming stretch of land, which does its name justice in summer: the corn chamber of Sweden. It is 20 minutes to Helsingborg, a friendly town on the way out of Öresund and just 15 minutes by ferry from Helsingör on the Danish side. From there it is only just over three-quarters of an hour by car or regional express train to Copenhagen, one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in Europe.
Note that only a cat or dog up to a height of 60cm is allowed.
