This apartment in Karlshausen leaves nothing to be desired. It is bright and modern, and there you have many extras available, such as a garden shed with barbecue and wood stove, a trampoline and a fireplace, a pleasant, provides extra heat source. The wood for the stove is provided to you free of charge. One of the bedrooms has a walk-in closet. The well-kept garden has many sitting and reclining and a beautiful view. Upon request, the landlord in good weather like a children's pool with slide on. In the garage or hall there is a ping pong table, a swing and a dart board. There is a water system, but can hedge on prior request for children of the owner of the property. Bordering the landlord has a farm with several horses. There you can get riding lessons, and you have to request and charges the option of bringing your own horse. The placement of a horse's own costs from EUR 15 / day, and the riding starts at EUR 15 / hour in the group and EUR 30 / single hour. On the lawn in front of the house usually two ponies graze. Their fresh bread rolls can be compared to the small supermarket. Karl Hausen is a municipality in the Eifel region of Rhineland-Palatinate and belongs to the südeifel on. In the nature reserve Irsental you can very nice hiking, and Arzfeld (8 km) runs almost everywhere paved bike path along a former railway line with connections to St. Vith, Prum, New Castle, Irrel etc. Arzfeld also attracts with a small lake. Swimming pools can be found in New Castle and Prüm.

    “Wir haben uns bei unserer Gastfamilie sehr wohl, und vom ersten Augenblick an willkommen gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, gemütlich und sauber. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wenn doch mal eine Kleinigkeit gebraucht wurde war in "Null Komma Nix" für Abhilfe geschaffen. Falls es mal kalt wird gibt es (neben einer Heizung) einen wunderbaren Ofen, der die gesamte Wohnung beheizt. Für reichlich Holzvorrat ist gesorgt und man darf sich gerne bedienen. Vom Garten aus hat man einen wundervollen Blick über die weiten Felder, und man kann bei guter Sicht bis nach Luxemburg schauen. Für die täglichen Frühstücksbrötchen sorgt ein kleiner Laden genau gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite.”
