Cosy holiday house with a generous garden landscape and a dream panorama of the Alps



This detached and child-friendly holiday house can accommodate up to ten people and is in a quiet location right by a forest and a hiking trail. The accommodation is in the Mattertal in the Swiss Alps in Grächen and affords a dream panorama over the whole Alpine landscape.



The ca. 142m² holiday house is ideal for two acquainted families. It has a living and dining room with a cosy sofa corner with a coffee table, satellite TV with a DVD player, a radio and a large dining table with a bench and chairs. The adjoining kitchen is open towards the living room and is equipped with an oven, a stove, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (200cm wide), the second with two single beds (90cm wide) joined together. The children’s room is in the attic and is accessed via stairs that can be pulled down. It has four single beds (90cm wide), a cassette player/radio and a portable fan. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, a shower, a toilet, a washbasin and a hairdryer. The house also has a studio with a separate entrance. The studio has a living room-bedroom with two single beds (90cm wide), a dining table with two chairs, a wardrobe, a portable fan and a radio with a CD player. It also has a kitchen unit with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine with crockery, and an adjoining bathroom with a shower, a toilet, a washbasin with a mirror and a hairdryer. The owner can provide two highchairs and two travel cots (without blankets) free of charge. All the rooms have heating and free wireless Internet access. There is a coin-operated washing machine in the cellar.



The 3000m² site has an extensive garden with a dream panorama and a private forest spanning 700m². The garden has a garden fireplace (supply your own firewood), a campfire area, a grill and a terrace with six deckchairs and a parasol. A slide, a swing and a table tennis table are provided for children. In winter you can sledge on site (free sledge included). Two dining tables and seating with a panoramic view are also available in the garden. There are five free parking spaces by the steps to the holiday house. Pets are allowed on request.



The tourism office can arrange a babysitter on request.



The 550-metre-long Family Funslope on the Hannigalp provides winter fun for all ages. Enjoy special descents via steep curves, through the snail, over the bridge etc. You can also have fondue at the cable car. Experience the diversity of the Grächen ski resort with a view of 4000-metre peaks, including Matterhorn. First attempts at skiing can be made in the largest and most beautiful SiSu family park on Hannigal and experts can enjoy the 42km of well-prepared pistes. The skiing childcare in the ski resort is included free of charge in the ski pass. In Grächen children become princes and princesses, while parents relax royally. Skiing fun for the whole family is guaranteed. A bakery, butcher and a supermarket are about 2500 metres away by car.

    “Ligging huis: mooi. Het is wat klimmen naar het huis toe. Zolderverdieping is laag, daar staan 4 bedden. Verder goede indeling. Grote tuin met veel mogelijkheden. Het huis was niet goed schoon, keukengerei was echt vies, bestek met etensresten en vette glazen in de kast, alles in de vaatwasser moeten doen. Het huis was ook erg stoffig, onder de bedden was al langere tijd niet gezogen en gedweild.     “Wir waren zu Zweit mit unseren beiden kleinen Hunden für leider nur eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung und haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Haus hat absolut alles was man braucht. Leider hatten wir bei unserem relativ kurzen Aufenthalt nicht die Zeit alles zu nutzen, was das Haus zu bieten hat. Wir haben überwiegend Wanderungen in der traumhaften Umgebung gemacht. Direkt neben dem Haus fängt z.B. ein märchenhafter Wald an, der zum Teil sogar zum Grundstück der Ferienwohnung gehört. Das Haus und die ganze Umgebung sind meiner Meinung nach perfekt für Kinder geeignet. Das Haus ist in einem guten Zustand, sauber und insbesondere bei dieser Größe und Lage ein richtiges Schnäppchen. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war für uns die Tatsache, dass es auch direkte Nachbarn gibt. Diese waren zwar sehr nett, aber wir bevorzugen eine einsame Lage. Das ist aber eine persönliche Vorliebe.”
