    “Der nächstgrößere Ort mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Cafes ist Matulji, ca. 5 Km Entfernung vom Haus. Hier ist ein LIDL und ein einheimischer großer Kaufladen. Morgens gegen 9 Uhr kommt ein fahrender Brotlieferant ans Haus. Hier haben wir des öfteren frisches Brot für wenig Geld gekauft. Ansonsten ist der LIDL wie bei uns zu Hause mit Bäckerei ausgestattet. Im Umland gibt es einiges zu sehen und zu besuchen. Auf jeden Fall Opatja, Rijeka, Kastav und ca. 1,5 Stunden entfernt Rovinj und Porec. Im Haus lag eine Liste mit empfohlenen Restaurants in der Nähe, auf die man sich verlassen konnte. Empfehlen können wir unser Lieblings-Restaurant Loza in Kastav.”
