    Torri del Benaco is een aardig toeristisch dorpje met vele terrassen langs en bij het water. Een boottocht naar Riva is zeer aan te bevelen en duurt 2 uur waarin je allerlei tussengelegen haventjes aandoet.
    Tijdens de vakantiemaand augustus is het vooral in de weekends ontzettend druk en is er geen enkele parkeerplek meer te vinden. Er ligt dan een cordon van auto's en scooters rond het meer waar je nauwelijks tussendoor kunt komen.
    Verona ligt op ongeveer 40 km afstand. Een opera bijwonen in de arena aldaar is gemakkelijk te doen maar de Tomtom is op deze rit onontbeerlijk als je de tolweg wilt vermijden.”
