    “Einkaufsmöglichkeit 6km entfernt. Seiffen ist sehr schönes Städtchen. Tolle Landschaft, Radwege - SEIFFEN TOUR - ausgeschildert. Sommerrodelbahn und Modeleisenbahnmuseum sind sehenswert. Deutschneudorf ist direkt an der tschechischen Grenze, das Haus 200m davon entfernt. Ausflug zur Burg Scharfenstein auch gut machbar (40 km ). Unbedingt mit Auto oder Motorrad selbst anreisen, um beweglich zu sein. Bushaltestellen gibt es, wir haben sie aber nicht genutzt und können dazu keine Aussage machen. Nächstgelegene Tankstelle in Tschechien.”

    “Prachtige natuur! In Seiffen hebben we genoten van de rodelbaan. Ook het speelgoedmuseum met interactieve spelen is interessant. Even over de grens in Tsjechië, aan de toren is een restaurantje waar we héérlijk gegeten hebben en dit voor weinig geld. Dit is echt een aanrader!”

    “Seiffen zelf is een toeristisch dorp met speelgoedmuseum, meerdere restaurants en heel veel winkeltjes met houtsnijwerk. In het dorp waar het huis staat is slechts één restaurant. In de omgeving zijn veel wandelmogelijkheden. Voor wintersport is er een klein skigebied met stoeltjeslift op 10 km afstand in Kliny, Tsjechië.”
