    “Sankt Sigmund ist als Ort nicht bemerkenswert. Es gibt nicht ei mal einen Laden. Den findet man erst in Griess (auch sehr klein) oder am Talausgang in Kematen.
    Die Umgebung von Sankt Sigmund und das ganze Sellraintal sind wunderbar still und noch nah an der Natur. Das Gebiet eignet sich im Winter vor allem für weitgestreckte Skitoiren und Skilanglauf. Im Sommer muß es dort toll sein zu wandern. Sehr schön für Menschen, die Ruhe und Natur suchen, ohne Haligalli und Animateure.”
