    “Es gibt viele kleine Örtchen drumherum. Alles schnell erreichbar. Auch zwei gute Restaurants sind im Ort. Das Meer ist ungefähr7 km entfernt, In Contis Plage findet man auch im Hochsommer noch einen Parkplatz. Und dort kann man auch nett shoppen. In Mimizan Plage gibt es regelmäßig einen großen Markt.”

    “Das Personal an der Rezeption des Feriendorfs ist sehr hilfsbereit und überaus freundlich. Das Schwimmbad ist sehr gepflegt und groß, ideal für die Kinder, wenn der Atlantik an einem heißen Tag zu stark rollt. Es steht ein Tennisplatz zur Verfügung, zwei Tischtennisplatten und ein Bouleplatz sind vorhanden. Täglich ist zu beobachten, wie Firmen der Umgebung mit der Pflege des Feriendorfs beschäftigt sind.

    Das morgendliche Baguette ist zu Fuß im Dorf erhältlich. Überaus witzig ist der Wochenmarkt (auf dem es wirklich alles zu kaufen gibt, ob es Käse, Fisch, Austern, Fleisch oder Obst/Gemüse ist ), nähere Informationen dazu an der Rezeption. Es gibt eine Post, Supermarkt, Fahrradverleih, Metzger, Surfshop, normales Dorfleben eben. Wir sind abends in Contis Plage ausgegangen, das Nachtleben in St.Julien können wir damit nicht bewerten. Der Strand liegt ebenfalls im 8kms entfernten Contis, es stehen eigentlich ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze dort zur Verfügung. Wählen kann man übrigens zwischen bewachten, stark besuchten Strand in Contis selbst und unbewachten, gering besuchten aber ebenfalls gepflegten im Lotissement Le Pont Rose - vor Contis Richtung Cap de l´Homy links abbiegen.”
