To the south, along the high cliff, there is a bicycle path, after 5 km you will reach the famous tourist town of Santa Pola.
Gran Alacant is primarily sun and warm sea, but besides that you can rent kayaks, practice kite surfing, windsurfing and paragliding from the high cliff, you can go rollerblading along the promenade or bike along the rocky cliff in the direction of Santa Pola.n the beach you find bars and restaurants with Spanish and international cuisine, Thursdays takes place a market in Gran Alacant.
In the neighborhood, in Santa Pola in salt lakes you can admire pink flamingos, and in Elche the palm grove, the largest concentration of palm trees in Europe, on UNESCO World Heritage List.
At the entrance to the Gran Alacant is a shopping center with restaurants and shops, including Mercadona, Lidl, Consum.
Gran Alacant is very well connected with Alicante, Arenales, Altet and Santa Pola. Local bus usually runs every 30 min.
