    “Das Cilento ist eine spannende, sehr abwechslungsreiche Gegend, wo alles direkt nebeneinander zu finden ist, vom Strand bis zu hohen Bergen, malerische Bergdörfer, Olivenhaine, Weinberge, Esskastanienwälder, archäologische Stätten aus griechischer und römischer Zeit, Burgen aus dem Mittelalter und natürlich viele Kirchen. Zwischendurch liegen immer wieder tolle Sandstrände, die auch öffentlich nutzbar und gut gepflegt sind. Es gibt viele nette Restaurants mit frischem Fisch, Meeresfrüchten, Büffelkäse aus Paestum. Wassersport aller Arten ist natürlich möglich, die Orte an der Küste haben ihre Häfen und Marinen größtenteils neu ausgebaut. Ein Auto ist praktisch, um möglichst viel sehen zu können, die Gegend ist aber auch toll zum Mountainbiken oder Wandern. Im September ist es nicht überlaufen, aber noch alles offen. Es finden verschiedene Feste in den umliegenden Orten statt. Das Wetter war noch richtig schön, das Meer sauber, warm und ruhig.”

    “Empfehlenswert ist die Anreise mit dem eigenen oder mit einem Leihwagen. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Pioppi, in ca. 10 min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Viele Supermärkte, Spezialitäten und Restaurants in Casal Velino, ca. 15 bis 20 Autominuten entfernt. Kultur und Natur kann man in Tagestouren erkunden, saubere Strände mit glasklarem Wasser sind in wenigen (Auto)-Minuten zu erreichen.”
