At the main square in Pakostane there is the church Uzasasca Gospodnjeg which serves locals and visitors for pleasant walk and sightseeing.
Close your eyes and imagine the picture. right in front of you is a stone island Babuljas decorated with rim rock cliffs. To the left ob Babuljas is the island Veliki Skolj. It is overgrown by tall shrubs, and on top of it there is a cross. At ten meters from Veliki Skolj there is island Sveta Justina. There is a small chapel and a cross on the island. Sveta Justina is just opposite the Pakostane port.

In the immediate vicinity of Pakostane or more precisely above the coast roast 2 km. from the sea is another natural phenomenon of the freshwater lake Vrana. The lake ist about 14 km. long and 4 km. wide surrounded by fertile fields. North of the lake,
One finds today the remains of the city and the Turkish Vrana Karawanserei. The town was once ruled by the first Croatian ruler. In the Middle Ages it was under the rule of the Knights Hospitallers and Templars.The Vrana Lake is a natural phenomenon that has much to offer: an ornithological reserve with various protected bird species eg herons. Anglers have the option to fish only 2km. away from the sea to catch freshwater fish. Horse riding is ideal for the modern nomad riding around the lake.
