    “Wenn man ein bisschen fährt findet man alles was man braucht. Zu Fuß gibt es einen Spielplatz, mehrere Pferdekoppeln. Aber kein Geschäft.
    Es gibt aber im Umkreis von 7 km 2 Bäcker (Tante Emma) die günstig und lecker sind. Aldi, Lidl, Edeka muss man dann schon 12 km fahren.
    Zum Abendessen gehen empfiehlt sich das Gasthaus Zum Simonbräu in Bitburg, günstig und 1 Michelin Stern - sie haben uns sehr kinderfreundlich bedient (Malsachen, Kinderkarte). Als Ausflug selbst natürlich, wenn man nicht gerade mit Kindern dort ist, lohnt sich ein Besuch und Führung in der Brauerei. Oder das Cascade Erlebnisbad in Bitburg. Leider gibt es in der Nähe von Neuheilenbach keinen Badesee. Der Stausee bei Bitburg eignet sich nicht besonders zum Baden, er wird überwiegend für Tretbootfahren genutzt und hat auch keinen Badestrand.. Der nächste Maar-See ist in Daun. Wer einen schönen Ausflug machen will zum Bummeln und Genießen, sollte nach Wittlich fahren.
    Wer aber einfach Ruhe und Natur genießen will, ist genau richtig hier, es gibt viele Wander-, Natur-, Waldwege.”
