“Der Ort Milo ist oben auf dem Berg sehr schön gelegen, aber ein Auto ist da natürlich mehr als empfehlenswert. Den Ätna verliert man hier nie aus den Augen. Die Aussicht ist grandios. Im Ort findet man alles, was man braucht. Wir waren fast täglich in dem freundlichen "Alimentari Salumeria", der angesicht seiner Größe über ein tolles Sortiment verfügt. An der Thecke findet man leckere Käse- und Wurstsorten Italiens/Siziliens. Darüber hinaus gibt es in Milo unter anderem eine Metzgerei, eine kleine Bäckerei, eine Cafe-Konditorei, wo man viele süße Spezialitäten ausprobieren kann und eine Pizzeria, wo wir lecker gegessen haben. Da man schon relativ oben ist, ist es nicht weit für schöne Ausflüge zum Ätna. Zur Küste braucht man eine halbe Stunde. Einfach ein netter beschaulicher Ort weit weg vom touristischen Trubel !”
