Wir haben in Klausdorf einen kleinen Strand gefunden (an der Turmruine vorbei), an dem Hunde zumindest angeleint erlaubt sind. An allen anderen Stränden sind Hunde ausdrücklich verboten.
    Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Edeka) befindet sich in Prohn, etwa 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Stralsund.

    “Einkaufen ist in Prohn (5km) bei Edeka (sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Sortiment) und in Stralsund (ca. 12km) möglich. Es gibt keine Versorgung vor Ort, selbst einen Bäcker oder Fleischer sucht man vergebens. Einmal war am Schloss ein mobiler Verkaufsladen geöffnet, jedoch fanden wir keine Hinweise über die Frequenz des Verkaufes.

    Die Anlage ist recht kinderfreundlich, jedes Haus bietet Spielmöglichkeiten (zwei Schaukeln und ein Garten um das Haus herum), die Sporthalle ist zu teuer, für das, was sie bietet.

    Die Anlage ist im Grünen gelegen (Felder und Koppel) in einer Dorfrandlage nicht direkt einsehbar. Das kleine Feriendorf bietet nichts außer Ruhe und ein renoviertes Schloss, welches zu PRIVATEN Eigentumswohnungen umgebaut wird.
    Der Strealersund ist nach einen Weg von ca. 4km zu erreichen (eine "grüne" Badestelle gibt es auch). Einen separaten Fussweg gibt es dort hin leider nicht. Der nächste kleine Strand ist in Barhöft (ca. 8km).

    Stralsund, Rügen und andere Ausflugsziele sind mit dem Auto zu erreichen, die Straßen zu der Bundesstraße ist zum größten Teil gut ausgebaut.
