    “In Etagnac gibt es bis auf einen Bäcker und Metzger keine Geschäfte. Auch ansonsten bietet der Ort nichts als Ruhe. Das einzige Restaurant liegt direkt am Kreisverkehr, hat nicht ernsthaft eine Terrasse und war deshalb unter Corona kein Ziel für uns. Saint Junien ist ca. 10km entfernt und bietet einige Geschäfte. Nette Restaurants haben wir hier für uns und unsere Kinder auch dort vergeblich gesucht. In Chabanais gibt es ein tolle Restaurant mit mehreren Micheline Sternen, aber auch entsprechenden Preisen. Ohne Auto geht in Etagnac kaum etwas. Uns war es irgendwann zu einsam...”
