    “Man kann sehr gut wandern. Es gibt eine Bushaltestelle mit regelmäßiger und pünktlicher Busverbindung. Ansonsten ist hier "nichts los" und das war auch gut so!
    Mietwagen ist empfehlenswert, um nach El Tanque zum Einkaufen zu fahren, denn das Haus steht in dem Dorf Erjos. Das ist ein paar Kilometer entfernt. In die andere Richtung geht es nach Santiago del Teide. Das ist ein ansprechender Ort mit Restaurants und Laden. Mit Auto ist alles kein Problem. Wunderbare Landschaften in unmittelbarer Nähe.
    Erjos (El Tanque) liegt in 1000m Höhe. Das sollte man bei der Auswahl der Kleidung bedenken. Die Temperaturangaben beziehen sich meist auf Orte an der Küste. Man muss pro 100m Höhe etwa 1 Grad abziehen und hat dann z.B. im November 16 Grad (im Schatten). Die Sonne ist immer warm genug für Sommerkleidung aber zwischen November und März sind die Tage nicht so lang und entsprechend weniger Sonnenstunden gibt es.”
