    “Brotterode und die Region um den Inselsberg sind IMMER eine Reise wert. Als wir in Leipzig gestartet sind, haben wir nicht auf Schnee gehofft; aber selbst im milden Winter haben wir drei wunderbare Schneetage, teils bei strahlendem Sonenschein, an nur mäßig begangenen Pisten erlebt, ideal für unsere Kinder, die das Skifahren erst lernen mußten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gastronomie gibt es genug, eine Schwimmhalle, außerdem im wenige Kilometer entfernten Tabarz einen Skiverleih.... und natürlich den herrlichen Wald!!!
    An- und Abreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sind leider unkomfortabel bis unmöglich. Wir sind schließlich mit dem Auto angereist und haben dieses täglich benutzt. Zumindest im Winter scheint dies die bessere Variante zu sein.”
