    “Der var gode indkøbsmuligheder af dagligvarer og en del vinbønder der solgt hvidvin. Boppard by er en dejlig by med færgeafgang til både Koblenz, loreley eller blot til den anden side af Rhinen. Langs Rhinen er utrolig mange velbevarede gamle byer. Vi havde cykler med og kunne cykle de fleste steder helt ned til Rhinen. I Boppard er der mange restauranter. Boppard er et godt sted at placere sig hvis man vil udforske byerne ved Rhinen og Mosel.”
