“Die Orte Gernrode und Bad Suderode sind eng miteinander verbunden. Einkaufgsmöglichkeiten sind teilweise zu Fuß zu erreichen oder in 5-10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Über Weihnachten waren allerdings wenige Restaurants oder Cafes geöffnet. Doch diese hatten einen freundlichen Service und ein gutes Speiseangebot. Uns waren Spaziergänge in der Natur wichtig und die Wege sind meist auch gut ausgeschildert. Besuche der Orte Halberstadt und Quedlingburg sowie Thale sind leicht, teilweise auch mit Bus oder Bahn zu erreichen. Wir haben uns gut erholt.”

“Bad Süderode is een kleine plaats, waar de meest basale dingen aanwezig zijn. Je kunt de sfeer van vroeger voelen en zien. Er zijn een aantal eetgelegenheden, waar je prima kunt eten. Het is geen bruisende, levendige plaats. Ook voor kleine kinderen is er weinig te beleven. Wel is er in de nabije omgeving veel te doen en kun je er heerlijk wandelen.”
