Holiday apartment in the basement, in a quiet residential area, near the centre of a seaside town
The apartment is in the basement of a private residential house in a quiet residential area of the little town of Tortoli, very close to the centre.
The apartment has an independent entrance and was renovated in 2015. It provides a big living room-kitchen with a brick-built kitchen unit with a microwave, a gas stove with four rings, a fridge, a washing machine and a TV. The room also has a dining table, six chairs, various sideboards and a fireplace (not usable). The first bedroom has a double bed (160 x 190cm) and a wardrobe, the second has two single beds (each 80 x 190cm), which can be joined together as a double bed. The bathroom has a WC, bidet, washbasin, cupboard and mirror, shower cubicle and washing machine. Wireless Internet access is available. The rooms are fresh even in summer, so there is no air conditioning, but there is a portable fan.
The apartment has a little garden with a table, chairs and a grill, facing the street. There is a clothes horse for drying laundry. Cars can be parked on the street.
The owners, who live on the upper floor of the same house, welcome guests personally on arrival and are happy to assist with any queries and to provide information.
The centre is a seven-minute walk away and provides all the necessary amenities and services, such as banks, a post office, a pharmacy, medical services for tourists, newspaper kiosks, butchers, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, churches, supermarkets and various shops. The major beach, Lido di Orri (Blue Flag 2015) is about a five-minute drive away. You can also take the shuttle bus to the beach, with a bus stop just 50 metres from the apartment. The apartment is about 300 metres from the road to Cagliari, Nuoro and Olbia. The train station for the Trenino Verde is about 500 metres away.
