This charming holiday home is set in the countryside north of Kungälv. It offers a stunning view of the fjord and the fields that surround it. Relax on the terrace while watching the boats passing by and the cows grazing on the pastures. The garden has a big lawn where the children can play. The cottage is rustic and features visible beams. In the cosy kitchen you will find a wood burning stove and a dining area. The living room features a TV-area and a sofa bed with a width of 140 centimetres, suitable for 1-2 people to sleep in. The bathroom is fully tiled and contains a WC, washbasin, shower, and washing machine. The light and airy bedroom features a comfortable double bed. It's just a few minute's walk from the cottage to the nearest bathing spot with it's cliffs and it's bathing dock. This is where you'll find the boat that you can rent from the landlord. There's another beach called Vadholmen, which you can reach by car, on the other side of the bay. The nearest town is Kode, 5 kilometres away, which has a shop and a pizza place. You can also find a small grocery store in Solberga, 3 kilometres. The area offers plenty of sights, for instance the fortress Bohus fästning, and the town of Kungälv (17 kilometres away), with it's buildings dating back to the 1600's. Marstrand is within driving distance, it is the sailing metropolis of Sweden! This is a favourite resort for the Swedish royalty and you will find an old fortress here. Or visit the nature reserve in Svartdalen with it's beautiful lakes, excellent for swimming. Gothenburg is only 40 km away, here you can visit the popular amusement park Liseberg or Universeum. Welcome to a charming holiday home on the beautiful west coast!

    “Sehr schöne Lage, sehr gut ausgestattet. Schöner Ausblick, ruhig gelegen, hübsch und gemütlich eingerichtet. Für 2 Personen viel Platz! Kleine Einschränkung: Schließmechanismus der Eingangstür, Spülmaschine nicht funktionsbereit.”

    “Das Haus liegt absolut ruhig am Rande des Örtchens Torp. Wenige Gehminuten entfernt ein ganz kleiner Anleger, von dem aus man auch schwimmen kann. Angrenzend ist ein schöner Wald, in dem man schöne Spaziergänge machen kann. Man kann auch an der Küste entlang, wenn man ein bisschen an den Felsen klettert.
    Das Haus selbst atmet historische Atmosphäre und ist reizend dekoriert und ausgestattet. Für 4 Personen scheint es mir zu klein. Auch das Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer ist schmal und füllt das Zimmer fast aus. Für zwei Personen aber absolut perfekt.
    Das Bad ist geräumig und modern, mit Fußbodenheizung. Waschmaschine ist vorhanden, Wäscheleine außen.
    Die Küche ist im Wohnraum integriert und mit Herd (mit Backofen), Spülmaschine und Kühl-/Gefrierkombinaton sowie Mikrowelle ausgestattet. Dazu ein historischer Ofen, in dem eingeheizt werden kann (die Wärme wird dann in die Heizkörper des Hauses eingespeist). Man muss ein bisschen üben, um den Ofen anzubekommen, aber dann funktioniert er. Holz ist in einem Schuppen vorhanden.
    Ein Fernseher und ein DVD-Player ist vorhanden (habe ich aber nicht ausprobiert).
    Reinigungsmaterialien einschließlich Staubsauger sind vorhanden. Das Haus hat Holzböden, die mit netten Läufern ausgelegt sind.”

    “Sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes und dekoriertes Ferienhaus mit ganz besonderem Retro-Charme. Das Häuschen liegt wunderschön, nur eine Wiese trennt es von der Meeresbucht, wo man die Schäreninseln erblicken kann. Es befindet sich eingebettet in einer reizvollen Landschaft, sehr ruhig und doch nicht weit zu sehenswerten Zielen wie Marstrand, Kungälv oder Göteborg. Im Haus findet man alles, was man braucht. Vom Wasserkocher über Geschirrspüler bis zur Waschmaschine. Der schöne Garten lädt zum verweilen am Abend ein, um die malerischen Sonnenuntergänge zu genießen. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zu empfehlen.”
