There is also a bedroom and a sauna in the small annex. This home is perfect for a holiday in a tranquil region. Lake Soby is located nearby, which is a pure, heath-filled lake with a nice, child-friendly beach. The lignite fields are very impressive here. In this huge area (16 square km), there are several animals and the white sand peaks as well as red ochre lignite lakes portray a beautiful contrast. The lignite museum provides a deeper contrast of the history of this region. Large and small exciting experiences are provided in Herning located about 15 minutes away, where you can find different activities in the theatres and the exhibition centre. Baboon City is an indoor play land. There is a wonderful spa in DGI. A movie theatre is located right across the train station. Lego Land, Givskud Lion Park and Jutland Zoo are wonderful tourist destinations in the region.
