Holiday home with a conservatory, terrace and roof terrace in a quiet urbanisation, with comfortable high quality furnishings and many extras

This very beautiful and comfortably furnished holiday bungalow is in the quiet El Eden urbanisation. It features two bedrooms and a bathroom, it’s close to the beach and comfortably furnished, an ideal accommodation for two up to four persons. The bungalow has been renovated and equipped with comfortable furniture. The two bedrooms have new double beds, the bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and washing machine, the small kitchen unit is complete with dishwasher and all appliances and utensils, and a cosy living room and a conservatory provide for a relaxing holiday in one of the Costa Blanca’s most beautiful locations.The bungalow was renovated and partially equipped with new furniture in 2013, when it was rented out for the first time. The double beds in the two bedrooms have comfortable new mattresses complete with toppers. The two beds in the master bedroom measure 2.00m x 1.60m, the other bed is 1.90m x 1.50m. Hot/cold air conditioning is available. New bed linen and bedding are provided by the landlord, and the bungalow is also stocked with new tableware and other comforts: dishwasher, washing machine, filter coffee machine, microwave, extractor hood, ceran cooktop, oven, large fridge and freezer compartment, electric lemon juicer, electric kettle, Italian-style stovetop espresso maker, flat screen satellite television, Bluray/DVD-player, air conditioning, portable heating units, and sun loungers and garden chairs for the outside area. The windows have mosquito nets and are equipped with roller blinds, and windows and doors are also secured with safety grills. The conservatory’s large doors and windows can be opened, they too are equipped with mosquito nets. A travel bed is available for families with small children, and also a baby bathtub, highchair, children’s tableware and nightlights – all free of charge! Families will also appreciate finding games, beach toys and bodyboards, a large beach bag, sun hats, caps, snorkeling gear and five large beach towels in the bungalow - so you don’t have to bring anything from home. For a stress free holiday from the start, you will find enough of all the things you might need on your first days: the most important herbs, oil, vinegar, toilet paper, cleaning products and mosquito repellent dispensers. Wlan: the urbanisation doesn’t yet have very reliable internet connections as Spanish providers are very expensive. The landlords will be asking guests about their internet needs throughout the season, to then make a decision as to whether WLAN will be made available in the long term. If you will need internet access during your stay, you can find inexpensive internet cafes in Guardamar and in the nearby Benijofar (the one in Benijofar is run by very nice and entertaining English owners).In front of the house there is a small terrace and at the back of the house you find a patio with outdoor shower and a huge roof terrace with stunning unobstructed and far reaching views of the Guardamar del Segura and the famous castle. The car park is right next to the bungalow’s entrance area.On the photograph, you can see the terrace next to the entrance. In the hot summer months, here you can spend nice cool evenings in the shade. The second picture shows parts of the roof terrace.An information pack provides you with detailed information and advice before and during your holidays, on such things like destinations for excursions, the area’s beaches, shopping facilities, restaurants, internet cafes, doctor’s surgeries, opticians, physiotherapists and hospitals for a relaxing worry free holiday. The centre of town is two kilometres away and it’s a 2.5 km distance to the eleven kilometres long dream beach of Guardamar.Only a few hundred metres away you will find a small supermarket, a bus stop, pizza parlour and a bar. Golfers will appreciate the very beautiful 18-hole course in Rojales, only four kilometres away. It takes a few minutes in the car to get to water parks, go-kart tracks, large supermarkets and many more attractions. Various Aquaparks, safari parks, go-kart tracks, bowling alleys, supermarkets, a factory shoe outlet, boutiques and other shopping malls are only a few minutes’ drive away in Guardamar, Torrevieja, Alicante, Elche and Murcia. You can go on excursions in a glass floor boat, visit gorgeous thermal baths and explore the countryside, take a trip to the city – you can find plenty to see and do. Torravieja, a 10 minute car drive away, has a Carrefour that is open 24 hours every day during the main holiday season. Several ALDI and LIDL supermarkets are also in the vicinity: Nearest airport: Alicante 25 km away, nearest bus stop (to Guardamar): 100 metres, nearest beach: Guardamar 2,5 kilometres, nearest bar/pub: La Campana 200 metres, nearest restaurant: Pizzeria Horno de Lena 200 metres away, a car is recommendable. Guardamar del Segura is only a 25 minute car drive south of Alicante airport and a 10 minute drive, on a well constructed four-lane road, north of Torrevieja. Guardamar has 8,000 inhabitants and is not affected as much by mass tourism as other places along the coast, although it boasts a breathtakingly beautiful, eleven kilometres long dream beach with fine yellow sand. But Guardamar also enjoys excellent infrastructure: the town is easily accessible, it offers beautiful shops, restaurants for all tastes, a daily entertainment park for children, a large very nice and shady children’s playground, large supermarkets including a Lidl, a hospital, doctors and physiotherapists, and much more. Guardamar del Segura is a typical Spanish holiday town. Although over the last years more and more British, Germans, Scandinavians and French have been spending their holidays here, the town is also a popular destination with the Spanish, mainly from Madrid. And if you get to know the Spanish holiday makers (and especially Madridians ;-) you will understand that they like to turn night into day. For all those who like to have a good party, Guardamar is a great place, and particularly during the main summer holiday season from June until the beginning of September. And if you like to recover from all that partying with a good night’s sleep, a cottage a bit outside of town is probably a good, and above all a much quieter option. Guardamar del Segura town doesn’t get much sleep during the summer months. El Eden is some two kilometres away from Guardamar and not your typical urbanisation. It is much smaller than most of the other urbanisations, and most of the residents stay here for the whole year. Only a few small cottages and bungalows are rented to holiday guests. There is a simple reason for this: in El Eden, you can always enjoy peace and quiet, even during the high season. And if you want some of the hustle and bustle, you can go to the centre of Guardamar del Segura which is only two kilometres away.2014 is the first year that the landlord will be letting this holiday accommodation through Atraveo. Up until now, mainly friends and acquaintances have been staying in the cottage.The owners believe that guests will feel very comfortable here and that they will treat the bungalow and its interior with the due respect, so that the next guests will be able to enjoy an equally nice and memorable holiday.
