Two independent holiday apartments in an excellent location, ideal for acquainted families to spend a holiday together


These are two holiday apartments in a detached, family-run apartment building outside Brunnen by Lake Lucerne. They are quietly situated, surrounded by meadows and trees, in an elevated location, with a view over the locality and the mountains. It is to the south of Zurich at the heart of Switzerland.

The holiday apartments, completed as recently as May 2013, are one above the other on the ground floor and on the first floor and are identically equipped. They are completely independent and can be booked separately. When booked together they are ideal for two acquainted families or for a group of up to eight people to spend a holiday together. Each apartment can accommodate up to four people in a bedroom and in the living room with a double sofa bed. The ground-floor apartment (atraveo no. 856340) has a private terrace, and the apartment upstairs (atraveo no. 856337) has access to a balcony with a fabulous view.

There is a free parking space on site, as well as a roofed parking space.

Children will enjoy the child-friendly farm with cows, cats and goats nearby. It is 3km to the village centre by the lake, with shops and restaurants awaiting your visit. There are also a range of leisure facilities nearby, from public grill areas by the lake to minigolf courses, a go-carting alley and a boat jetty. The natural surroundings are ideal for hiking and mountain biking trips. The Vita circuit is just 500 metres away. There is a leisure park 5.5km away. It is possible to go on a day trip to Zurich about 60km away.

Holiday apartment on the upper floor with a balcony, ideal for two adults and two children

This apartment with a modern interior provides a bedroom with a double bed, an open living room with a sofa bed and an integrated kitchen unit, and a bathroom with a glass shower cubicle, a WC, a washbasin and hairdryer. The bedroom has a double bed, a bedside table and a reading lamp. You can store your luggage in a red-painted wardrobe and space-saving shelving. A little hallway leads past the bedroom and the bathroom opposite to the open living room. On the left side there is the integrated kitchen unit with all the necessary appliances, including a fridge, a hob and oven, a toaster, kettle and plenty of crockery, for self-catering. A Nespresso coffee machine provides freshly made coffee and espresso at the touch of a button. On the other side of the room there is a suite with a coffee table and a comfortable corner sofa, which can be converted into a comfortable, quality sofa bed for a third and fourth guest. In front of this sofa there is a large flatscreen TV with satellite channels, for entertainment in the evenings. From the sofa you can look out through the glass door towards the balcony and the picturesque landscape behind it. If you have a baby or toddler with you then you can request a cot. Free wireless Internet access is available.

The balcony has two garden chairs and a table. Enjoy your coffee with a fabulous view of the green landscape, the mountains and the locality. The house has a guest storage room for bicycles, skis and a pram. There is a free parking space on site for your car. A covered parking space can be provided on request.
