Holiday apartment right in Ilmenau with a view of nature

This cosy holiday apartment is right in Ilmenau. It is tastefully furnished and the windows allow sunlight in and afford a direct view of nature. The apartment is very quietly situated, despite being in the middle of town.

You can park your car on site free of charge. The accommodation is easy go get to not only by car, but also by train (it is 160 metres to the train station). From here you can set off directly on walks, whether it is along the Rennsteig, to the Bobhütte, the Kickelhahn or the Goethehäuschen, or simply to the Thüringer Forest. It is just 500 metres to the town centre and 200 metres to Kaufland for shopping, and 500 metres to the university. It is about 80 metres to a very good and well-priced restaurant with a wide-ranging menu and there are many other restaurants in the town centre about 500 metres away.

The apartment is also suitable for guests with restricted mobility, as it is only two steps up. It has a big living and sleeping room with a box spring double bed and a sofa, an armchair, a small desk and a TV. Everything is in harmonious, warm colours and is charmingly decorated. The fully-equipped kitchen also has a dining table. The bathroom has a shower and a WC.

    “Positiv: Die Lage war gut, man konnte alles schnell erreichen . Die Stadt war ja gleich um die Ecke. Für Hunde zum Gassi war perfekt. Wir waren zufrieden , alles normal.”

    “Alles in allem gelungener Urlaub. Die Sehenswerten Städte wie Erfurt, Radolstadt, Suhl usw. sind
    gut zu erreichen. Es wird vom Tourist-Info-Zentrum vieles angeboten wie geführte Wanderungen
    und Stadttouren u. ä. Wen es in Ilmenau langweilt, dem gefällt es nirgends. Positiv: Das Einkaufszentrum Kaufland bietet alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Bäcker, Metzger, Blumenladen, Schuhgeschäft, Zeitschriftenladen, Parkplatz vor Kaufland und eine Etage höher im
    Einkaufszentrum. Negativ: Keine Beanstandungen!”

    “Sonst hat uns der Urlaub sehr gefallen. Wir haben sehr viel gesehen. Nochmals vielen Dank an den Vermieter. Positiv: Es hat uns gefallen, dass wir unseren Hund mitnehmen konnten. Negativ: Mit den Parkplätzen war es rar, da auch Arbeiter dort ihre Unterkunft hatten. In der Wohnung waren viel zu viel Teppiche und Kissen ( Staubfänger ) und auch sehr dunkel.”
