Holiday villa with an outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and several terraces

This villa is set amid a natural environment that has been declared as nature reserve area. It enjoys stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

The villa features approx. 120 m² of living space. It boasts three bedrooms, each equipped with a high quality ceiling fan. The two bathrooms have a bathtub, shower, toilet and bidet. The living room is furnished with two sofas that can be converted into beds. The living room has hot/cold air conditioning. The villa was designed by a Spanish architect and constructed by a German house building company. Thanks to a special Swiss insulation system, the villa enjoys exceptional insulation so that even during the hottest summer months air conditioning is not required. A lavishly designed cassette fireplace completes the living room. The fully equipped kitchen has a separate entrance that leads to the outdoor kitchen. Free Internet access is available.

The villa is set on a 6,000 m² plot of land and from the higher parts you can enjoy views of the sea, which is a 15km air distance away. The lower terrace measures approx. 300 m², the upper terrace approx. 80 m². An outdoor kitchen has been recently added and is complete with Spanish bread oven for baking bread and also for making oven baked fish and meat. The outdoor kitchen has an in-built wine rack, a sink and a barbecue. Right next to the swimming pool you will find an outdoor shower.

The villa is in a spectacular location boasting unforgettable views across the Axarquia and the artificial lake. The nearest restaurant, which offers excellent food, is approx. two kilometres away and can be reached on foot. Great places to visit are within easy reach such as Malaga, Almeria, Nerja with its famous caves, Granada and the world renowned Alhambra, Marbella, Ronda, Gibraltar and the monkey cliffs, Cordoba, Sevilla etc. The area is also fantastic for quad tours. Horseback riding is available in the neighboring village. Beautiful hiking trails begin directly from the villa. A destination worth hiking to is, for example, one of the three Stupas that the Western part of the world has to offer.

    “We had a fantastic stay at Villa Enya. The house was comfortable and spacious, with everything we needed for a family holiday (including a generous welcome pack). It’s clearly well-designed, and through a combination of opening the windows, the ceiling fans and the aircon, it never felt too hot indoors.
    The outdoor space is even better. The pool is great, there is ample seating, and the views – wow! The pictures really don’t do them justice. Being set just below the highest ridge, the villa is not overlooked, and has fantastic views over the valley.
    Tony and Lindi (who manage the property) were very friendly and welcoming. They helped us to settle in, and were always available to give recommendations when needed. We found lots of things to do in the local area. Beyond the beaches and coastal towns, particular highlights were the hot springs and gorge at Alhama de Granada, and the 3 Cultures festival at Frigiliana. The only downside to the property was the wasps. They aren’t aggressive, just very irritating. By the end of our stay we gave up on eating outdoors, which was a shame. All-in-all though, we had a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back.”

    Tony de manager woont vlakbij dus mocht er iets niet in orde zijn, helpt. Hij je graag verder.
    Mooie omgeving, huis netjes Verzorgd.
    Super fijn dat er ook een welkompakket was voorzien.”
