Holiday house with its own pool with a counterflow system, with a unique panoramic view of the mountains and the sea
The two-storey holiday house with its own pool is in the south-west, in the sunniest part of the island. It is quietly situated in a cul-de-sac, right next to the owner’s house. He speaks French fluently. The site is enclosed by a wall and ensures absolute privacy. Owing to its location, you can enjoy a unique all-round view of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other.
The 120m² detached house was renovated in 2012. It can accommodate five adults and a small child, with a junior bed provided on request. It provides its guests with modern comfort and convenience for a pleasant holiday. The ground floor has an open, fully-equipped kitchen, with an adjoining dining room and living room with satellite TV (French channels). There is also a bedroom with a sofa bed for one person and there is a separate bathroom with a shower and WC. The upper floor has two further bedrooms, one with two single beds, satellite TV and a balcony, and the other with a big double bed, its own whirlpool bath with massage jets, a washbasin, satellite TV and a balcony. The second separate bathroom also has a shower and WC.
Wireless Internet access and air conditioning are available throughout the house. Apart from the junior bed, a highchair and a pushchair are also available.
The outdoor area belonging to the house has a heated pool with a counterflow system and an outdoor shower, a brick-built barbecue, a big furnished terrace, as well as deckchairs and a hammock for relaxing. There is no garden, but next to the house there are banana trees and other fruit trees. A parking space is provided.
It is a ten-minute walk or five-minute drive to the beach, and the same distance to little shops, supermarkets and the nearest beach. It is fifteen minutes by motorway to Funchal with all its shops and amenities, the harbour, museums and the casino. A bit further away, about 35 minutes by car, there is also a golf course. You can hire bicycles locally.
