The holiday house is on two floors and measures around 116m². The ground floor has an entrance area with a hallway and a generous combined cooking and dining space, with a fully-equipped built-in kitchen with a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, TV, radio/CD/USB, toaster, egg boiler, microwave with electric grill and ample tableware. The ground floor also has a bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a cupboard, a folding guest bed and a child’s travel bed (for children up to 2 years old). There is a bathroom with a shower and WC. The large living room is on the upper floor and provides a corner sofa (which can be converted into a bed for two people) and a flatscreen TV with satellite chanenels and a radio. On this floor there are also a further bedroom with a comfortable double bed and cupboard and a second modern bathroom with a bath, shower and WC. Under-floor heating ensures pleasant warmth on cooler days.
The big balconies at the gable ends facing south-west with a view over Mönkebude and north-east with a wonderful view of the Stettiner Haff and the islan of Usedom invite you to sit and relax. All the windows and doors are fitted with external blinds and insect screens. The two big terraces to the south-west and west with garden furniture and a stainless steel outdoor grill invite you to spend sociable hours together. There is also a tool shed on site where you can park bicycles.
The holiday house is on a bungalow complex (ca. 150 plots), but which have a very individual character due to the finishing touches of the private owners. No two plots, bungalows or houses are the same. The complex is easy to get to, has two enclosed parking areas (about 150 metres from the house) and has its own access to the Stettiner Haff with a swimming jetty and sports boat harbour. On arrival and departure it is possible to drive to within 30 metres of the plot.
Mönkebude is rightly called the pearl of Stettiner Haff. It is a little village that has built up its status as a spa resort over the last ten years and is especially suitable for a somewhat quieter holiday in the midst of the charming Haff landscape and Ueckermünder Heide. It is just a few minutes (ca. 400 metres) to the swimming beach at Mönkebude, over the dam built a few years ago as flood protection, or else through the village. The beach is flatly shelved and therefore also suitable for children. It is just 50 metres to the sports boat harbour with a slipway.
