Centrally, but quietly situated holiday apartment, ideal for a family holiday and for trips in the area

The holiday apartment is in the attic (second floor) of a former brewery on the parsonage without traffic. This is part of an old monastery around the Oberkirche church.

The apartment has windows facing the garden only and is therefore exceptionally quiet. It is suitable for two people, but supplementary beds can be added in the living room for a further two people. The apartment measures around 54m² and has comfortable and cosy furnishing. It comprises a living room with a sofa, a cupboard, an armchair and a TV. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200cm), a wardrobe (optional travel cot or supplementary junior bed). The fully-equipped kitchen includes a two-flame ceramic hob, a microwave, coffee machine, dining table, dishwasher, cooking unit and plenty of crockery, with an optional highchair. The bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, a WC and under-floor heating, as well as a washing machine. There is a guest toilet on the upper floor.

The parsonage is free of cars. You can park your car on the public parking area in front of the house. The big garden has a lawn for relaxing with garden furniture, a parasol, two garden loungers and a grill. The site is fenced and therefore also suitable for children. A swing and a sandpit are provided and children can climb in the old oak tree. The owner’s motto is: come home.

Please note that there are stairs in the apartment from the entrance on the upper floor, so guests with restricted mobility need to take care. There is a child safety gate. Two mountain bikes are available for a fee, as well as wireless Internet access. Smoking is prohibited out of consideration for other guests and the apartment is fitted with smoke alarms. Bed linen, towels, supplementary costs and heating are included in the rental price.

The accommodation is a minute’s walk above the market in the midst of town. All shops, restaurants, museums and churches in the town centre are within a few minutes’ walk.

The apartment is bed&bike certified. The owners are particularly able to meet the requirements of biking guests. At bed&bike you, your bike and your equipment are well taken care of. All the required basic services are available. Long-distance cycle paths and the distances from the accommodation include the Gera cycle path (0.6km), the Thüringer Stadtkette (10km) and the Ilmtal cycle path (13.3km).
