Large holiday apartment in a central location in BerlinThis holiday apartment for a maximum of ten people enjoys a central location in Berlin, in the Friedrichshain district. It is 30 meres to the “Volkspark Friedrichshain” with its beer gardens, fairytale fountain and other fountains. It is only about 300 metres to Alexanderplatz, the Hackesche Market and Brandenburger Tor. The sights and trendy highlights such as eastsidegallery, o2 world, Simonadach-Straße are within easy walking distance.The apartment is on the fifth floor and the house has a lift. The living room provides seating, a TV, a DVD and CD player and two sofa beds for four people to sleep on. There are also three bedrooms each with a double bed. There are two fully-equipped kitchens including a fridge, dishwasher, stove with oven, microwave, coffee machine, mixer and kettle. Two TVs and a laptop with a printer are provided, along with wireless Internet access and fans. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath, toilet and washing machine, the other with a shower and toilet. Bed linen and towels are included.Late arrivals from 20.00 are possible (see supplementary charges).The apartment has good public transport connections. You take public transport from the airport to Alexanderplatz, then from there the M4 tram or bus 200, just 2-3 stops, depending where you get in, to the station “Volkspark Friedrichshain”, then it is just a five-minute walk to the apartment. The BVB Berlin bus 142 goes the main station to the “Weinstraße” stop just 20 metres from the apartment. Three districts meet here, Friedrichshain, Prenzlauer Berlin and Mitte. In the apartment there are descriptions of the electrical appliances and wireless Internet access. There are three supermarkets within 30 to 100 metres, such as Aldi, Netto and Kaisers.

    “The flat is not luxury standard. If you need a good, quiet place to rest in between visiting tourist attractions in Berlin it will suit. Two of the bedrooms have a connecting door, and the one shower/toilet unit is adjoined to one of these bedrooms at the end. The third bedroom is okay, but a large baby's cot takes up a lot of the available space and a folding version for use when necessary would be more practical. The bathroom/toilet is off the hallway. Plenty of hanging space in the hall and 'portable' hanging frames elsewhere. The furniture is pretty basic. Plastic dining chairs, simple wooden table, the two couches in the living/dining area would be okay for relaxing if they're not needed as beds (we needed extra beds, so there was little chance to use them for actual sitting purposes). The small kitchen in one corner is well equipped. There is a dish-washer and a fridge with a small freezer compartment. There are enough cutlery, glasses and crockery (although more crockery would save continual dish-washer usage). The flat was clean when we arrived and there was a plentiful supply of towels. The owner does need to think about replacing the mattresses and pillows (and next time the pillows ought to be washable!). Small TV, WiFi connection and free computers usage.”
