Beautiful house with garden and patio on Corsica, situated in between Calvi and Ile Rousse

This beautiful holiday home is located on the marina of Sant'Ambrogio in the municipality of Lumio (Haute Corse). The location is ideal: only 10 km from the international airport in Calvi and 9 km from the Ile Rousse. The house was recently built and is in pristine condition.

The two storey house is surrounded by a fenced in 400 m² garden. Within, as well as outside of the fenced in area, there is a private, covered parking space. The house is easily accessible and in a quiet location. The 40 m² ground floor offers two air conditioned bedrooms with double beds and a wardrobe, one large bathroom with a shower, a utility room (with a washing machine) and a garden facing patio. One of the bedrooms offers garden access via a large sliding glass door. There is also an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The 40 m² first floor boasts a small bathroom with a toilet and a sink, a fully furnished kitchen (large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave), as well as a patio facing window and a living room with a sofa bed for two and a large dining table for six people. The first floor also boasts a 10 m² patio with a canopy cover. The dining table can easily be moved onto the patio through the sliding glass door, enabling you to enjoy al fresco dining. On the first floor, you will find a television with satellite reception. Wireless internet connection is available in the house and garden. A child's cot is available upon request. There are two sun loungers and two garden chairs for your enjoyment.

The garden is furnished with a marble top table and 6 chairs. The garden is fully fenced in. It boasts a small utility room with a barbecue, available to our guests.

Shops and restaurants can be found only a few hundred meters from the house (small supermarket, bakery....) and there are two restaurants within about 200 meters of the house. The beach of the marina Sant'Ambrogio can be reached on foot (0.5 km) or by car (0.8 km). Around the marina, there are additional shops and amenities (gas station, hair dresser, shops), as well as a car rental agency, a boat rental, a swimming pool and a tennis court. The natural reserve of SPANO is about 1.5 km from the house and offers a beautiful swimming spot (shallow rocks) and panoramic views of the golf and the citadel of Calvi. From Lumio (10 minutes by car), you can take hikes into the mountains. The town of Algajola can be reached within a 5 minute drive. It offers a beautiful, large sandy beach. The municipality of Sant'Antoninu, one of the most beautiful French towns, is in the vicinity of the house, as well (15/20 minutes). Other towns in the area (Calvi, l'Ile Rousse, Sant'Antoninu, Algajola, Calenzana, Pigna...) are some of the most beautiful towns in the region and offer a variety of restaurants and amenities.

    “Nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour dans cette location, très bien équipée, très propre, au calme. L’accueil par les représentants du propriétaire a été parfait. Nous espérons séjourner à nouveau dans cette location une autre année. Un plus serait l’installation d’un système de climatisation au premier étage qui, l’après-midi, est particulièrement exposé aux ardeurs du soleil corse !”

    “Uns hat es super gefallen, das Haus bietet alles was man für schöne Ferien braucht. Wir würden es sofort wieder buchen! Einzig auf die Pools in der Nachbarschaft ist man etwas neidisch :-). Positiv: Das Haus bietet genau das, was in der Beschreibung steht - oder sogar noch etwas mehr! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir waren der Meinung, dass es "in echt" nochmals etwas hübscher ist als auf den Bildern. Insbesondere der grosszügige Garten lädt zum verweilen ein. Klar, man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass alles auf zwei Stockwerken ist, aber man gewöhnt sich dran.
    Auch die Übergabe und Rückgabe war unkompliziert und einfach mit den Eltern vom Besitzer. Sie waren bei Fragen immer erreichbar (auch per Whatsapp).
    Auch wenn keine Bilder von der Küche vorhanden sind, muss sich diese nicht verstecken, denn sie bietet alles, was man braucht - klein aber fein, mit Mikrowelle, Induktions-Kochherd, grossem Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, genügend Pfannen, Besteck, Teller, eine Abwaschmaschine etc. Negativ: Wenn wir etwas zu kritisieren haben, dann ist es höchstens, dass es in der Küche keinen Backofen hat - aber damit kann man während zwei Wochen Ferien gut leben :-). Restaurant: LA VIEILLE CAVE, Algajola - Gutes Restaurant mit "heissem Stein". Ausflüge: Plage de Ghjunchitu - Wunderbarer Strand mit ganz feinem Sand, lädt zum Baden ein.”

    “Das Haus hatte alles was benötigt wird. Sogar ein Grill. Eine Flasche Wasser zur Begrüssung. Aussendusche im sehr schönen Garten. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, es kommt sogar nach einer Woche eine Putzfrau zur Zwischenreingigung = Super. Dusche und Herd ist neu.
    Wir waren zum 2. Mal in diesem Haus als Familie mit 2 Kindern. Sehr nette Vermiter vor Ort, die alles sofort angehen.
    WLAN ist super. Das Bett hätte für unsere beiden Kinder etwas größer sein können.
    Tolle Lage des Hauses. Strand zu Fuß ist kein Problem, Supermarkt und Pizzeria sind um die Ecke.
    Der Bahnhof ist auch gleich da.”
