Non-smoking holiday house with a beautiful view of Wurmberg

The house is on the highest mountain in the Harz region of Lower Saxony, in a very quiet district of Braunlage, and measures around 75m².

Your accommodation is on two floors and comprises two separate bedrooms with double beds (140 x 200cm and 180 x 200cm), a living room, a bathroom with a shower/WC and a hairdryer, a guest WC and a separate entrance. The holiday house is suitable for two to five people. The sofa in the living room can be converted into an additional bed if required. There is a kitchen unit with a ceramic hob, microwave, crockery and cooking utensils, a coffee machine, a Tassimo coffee machine and a kettle.

Your holiday house provides everything you need, including bed linen and towels, an LED TV with a satellite receiver, a DVD player and a CD stereo system with an iPod docking station. A junior bed and highchair are available free of charge. There is a 60°C infrared sauna with chromotherapy for relaxing. A private parking space is available. Our garden provides sun loungers, garden furniture and a grill. The site is fenced and therefore also suitable for children and dogs.

The centre of Braunlage with many restaurants and shops, the Kurpark, the Wurmberg cable car, an indoor pool, minigolf, a tennis hall and tennis court etc., as well as hiking trails, are all within a few minutes’ walk.

    “Wohnung wie auf den Bildern sehr schöne ,moderne und saubere Wohnung.
    Ruhig gelegen aber auch zentral.
    Sehenswürdigkeiten gut und schnell zu erreichen.
    Einen Kritikpunkt habe ich aber doch.
    Die Nebenkosten mit 220€ haben nochmal weh getan wäre besser wenn sie von vornherein dabei wären.”

    “Wir waren im Februar das zweite und definitiv letzte Mal hier. Die Familie Drabik hat eine neue Heizungsanlage bekommen, welche sie nun per App steuern kann.
    Beim Eintreffen war es kalt im Haus. Die Heizungen standen auf 16 bzw. 18 Grad - und das im Winter! Leider konnten wir die Heizungen nicht hochdrehen, weil sie gesperrt waren.
    Erst nachdem ich mit Abreise drohte, wurden die Heizkörper freigeschaltet. Danach wurde die Temperatur trotzdem durch die Familie Drabik immer wieder heruntergeregelt. Am Abreisetag (10:00 Uhr) war es wieder kalt, weil die Heizungen am Abend zuvor erneut gesperrt und heruntergedreht worden waren. Zudem mussten wir einen Saunabesuch immer rechtzeitig anmelden, damit der Strom dafür überhaupt freigeschaltet wird. Einmal mussten wir 3 Stunden darauf warten, weil niemand bei Familie Drabik zu erreichen war. Urlaub stelle ich mir anders vor! Außerdem ist es Wucher, für ein derart langsames WLAN 2,00 € pro Tag zu verlangen. Zudem Fragen wir uns, wozu im Wohnzimmer in einem Ferienhaus eine „Alexa“ ist!? Wir haben sie jedenfalls direkt vom Strom getrennt.
    Wir hätten lieber von Anfang an höhere Nebenkosten gehabt, als so überwacht und eingeschränkt zu werden.”
