This large villa is situated on the beautiful hills overlooking the lower Valdarno-valley. The origins date back to the year 1100: founded as a castle, the residence underwent various changes and restorations during the centuries before reaching its present state of a villa within a large, partly fenced in property. With its spectacular panoramic view of the valley and a large park (10,000 m²) with tall trees and Italian garden, you will be enjoying time spent ideal for long walks, or having a relaxing holiday immersed in the majestic atmosphere of past times. In the park, on a panoramic terrace, is the semi-inground swimming pool equipped with changing room, shower and toilet. The built-in barbecue and large table in front of the villa are ideal for outdoor breakfast and dinners and just soaking up the sun and the pleasant surroundings. Inside the property is furnished with antiques and period pieces, the house retains all its grandeur and beauty with its frescoed ceilings and spacious lounges, library and billiards room.     “La villa est très grande et ancienne; façade typique de la Toscane noble, les pièces ont des fresques magnifiques. Les jardins sont superbes, bien entretenus avec le charme de plusieurs terrasses. La piscine est malheureusement non enterrée et donc peu profonde, mais avec une vue exceptionnelle.”
