Villa Es Pou de Son Vent is without doubt one of the most original properties in our portfolio and will be especially popular with children. Of course, the outdoor area has a wonderful pool, so water will be an integral part of your holiday. But thanks to the creative ingenuity of the owner, his villa has evolved over the years into a fantastic, magical world. When you arrive at the property, you may feel like you've stepped into a Tim Burton film. A wooden gate leads to the pool, where you will find a cosy spot with a bar area on a small wooden walkway. Sun loungers under palm trees, straw umbrellas and a hammock contribute to a relaxed atmosphere where you can easily imagine yourself sipping a cocktail or two in perfect holiday bliss. And in summer, this area is draped with curtains so you can completely unwind here in this super cosy setting. One of the most interesting things about the property is the presence of all kinds of animals on the property, including birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and tortoises. The menagerie is also joined by the fish in the pond, where picturesque lily pads float on the surface of the water. This place is perfect for a holiday with children. And in addition to another small pool, there is even a small beach that slopes gently into the water. An outdoor pool ensures that you can stay out here and enjoy this adventure playground for as long as you like. And to that end, there's a swing, a built-in barbecue and a kitchen garden that add the perfect flair to this incredibly green, oasis-like outdoor area.

The interior of the house is also a testament to the owner's creativity. The furniture is a skilful blend of modern and traditional-rustic elements. Rather low ceilings supported by thick tree trunks and natural stone walls give this single-storey villa a particularly cosy atmosphere. There are three bedrooms, two with a double bed each and the other with a bunk bed and a single bed; three bathrooms, one with a bathtub; and a living room. But you'll really love the kitchen, which has a counter and a wood-fired oven so you can even make your own pizza. Artwork scattered throughout the villa provides colourful and intriguing accents. and in fact, this villa itself is an ever-growing work of art. The windows are relatively small, but emphasise the rustic ambience of the living space. One room has an impressive collection of cuddly toys and a wooden bookshelf is filled with a selection of interesting reads. No question: at some point you could imagine staying in a stylish hostel for globetrotters, just by looking at the individual details in this place. Another plus point of this villa is that the rooms have heating and air conditioning to ensure a pleasant temperature all year round.

The villa is only 15 minutes from the airport, which means that you can always head straight to Palma to enjoy the city life and then retreat back to the countryside when you've had enough. The villa is located on a quiet road just on the edge of the village of Pòrtol, where you can buy groceries and other supplies. And you're less than ten minutes from the beautiful little town of Santa Maria del Camí, where there's a farmers' market every Sunday that's well worth a visit if you want to buy fresh Balearic produce. We also recommend a visit to the Convento de Mínimos, a monastery founded in the 18th century, if you are interested in some artefacts from the island's prehistory and early history, as well as traditional Mallorcan costumes and other items from the 18th and 19th centuries. The Stations of the Cross in the monastery are among the most beautiful on the island. It is also only 20 minutes by car to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area. An unforgettable villa conveniently located for exploring the island, what are you waiting for? This villa is full of surprises, such as a private beach area and many different swimming options in its imaginatively decorated garden. It is also just 3.5 kilometres from the idyllic town of Santa Maria del Camí, where the farmers' market is well worth a visit on Sundays. Furthermore, the location offers an ideal compromise: on the one hand, you are only 20 minutes away from the bustling island capital of Palma, with all the advantages of city life; on the other hand, you are also very close to the beaches in the south of Mallorca.
