Eifeler Finnhaus with outdoor sauna

Situated in the Eifel, between Trier and Koblenz, the Eifeler Finnhaus, with sauna house, awaits you. It offers you cosy furnishings and is a holiday place of peace and relaxation in the healthy and "intact nature" of the Eifel. For 4 persons, plus a sleeping possibility on a comfortable, cosy sofa bed.

Quaint and cosy, it is surrounded by meadows and forests, in the middle of the beautiful
Eifel nature. With its characteristic natural building material, wood, it blends in wonderfully with the Eifel landscape.

The Eifel Finnhaus offers accommodation ideal for 4 people.
There are two bedrooms in the upper part of the house. One double bedroom with two beds (90 x 200) open at the foot end with adjustable slatted frames, and a second bedroom with two beds each (90 x 190).
A very comfortable sofa bed with a high-quality, comfortable mattress and a slatted frame offers another two people a very cosy place to sleep in the living area, so that a larger family or friends can also enjoy a relaxing holiday.

An easy-to-operate pellet stove provides a cosy atmosphere in the cold season. (pellets included).

From the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Eifel landscape. With cosy seating, you can not only enjoy a cup of coffee in the afternoon, but also a relaxing end to a wonderful day's holiday in the evening!

We are happy to provide you with a travelling cot.

A rustic sauna house offers guests a special kind of wellness experience.
The sauna house offers plenty of space for up to four people for extended sauna sessions.

Fragrant sauna additives are at your disposal.

At the Eifeler Finnhaus there is also a sheltered meadow which is ideal for playing football or badminton etc.

There are three beautiful ponds in the weekend/holiday park where wild ducks can be observed all year round.
Fishing enthusiasts have the opportunity to fish in the ponds in the park!

There is also a large children's playground with lots of equipment to let off steam. There is also a waterwheel that turns at a leisurely pace, giving a hint of romance from the past.

Various shopping facilities can be reached in a few minutes in Daun, Gerolstein or in the crime capital of Germany, Hillesheim!

The Eifeler Finnhaus is 15 kilometres from the Nürburgring!

The restaurants in and around Dockweiler, Daun, Gerolstein and Hillesheim (Germany's thriller capital) offer delicious, typical Eifel dishes as well as international cuisine. We will be happy to give you recommendations!

Summer swimming and leisure fun can be found at the Gemündener Maar or the Schalkenmehrener Maar.
Swimming in a crater lake with drinking water quality and varying water temperatures is certainly an unforgettable swimming experience.

The Maare-Mosel cycle path runs along the former railway line near Daun, which crosses a high viaduct (30 m), to Bernkastel on the Moselle. From there, a shuttle bus takes you back to the Eifel. In the summer season, it is necessary to register at the tourist office in Daun or via the Internet!

Dockweiler is located in the centre of the Vulkaneifel region at approx. 500 - 560 m above sea level, on the watershed between the Ahr and Moselle rivers in northern Rhineland-Palatinate, in the Vulkaneifel district between Daun and Gerolstein. The village was built on a lava flow that stretches from the 700 m high Ernstberg (ski area) over the 637 m high Eselsberg to the neighbouring village of Dreis.
(Relatively snow-sure in winter).
