Comfortable apartment in a quiet villagge

The apartment for 6 people located in Gornji Picudo, a small village near Umag, is a beautiful accommodation offering comfort and tranquility in an environment surrounded by greenery. The new, tastefully furnished apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The strong point of the accommodation is the attic on the upper floor with a small terrace overlooking the beautiful surroundings.

The new apartment has been furnished with great care and love, paying maximum attention to the comfort of guests.
The accommodation has a covered terrace at the entrance, furnished with a table and chairs where you can enjoy breakfast in the shade. In the entrance corridor there is a door that separates the staircase to reach the attic from the rest of the apartment. The attic is equipped with a double bed, a wardrobe, an air conditioner, a refrigerator and a bathroom with a shower. Furthermore, it also has an exit onto a beautiful terrace furnished with a table and two chairs. The attic is ideal for couples who wish to spend their holidays together but also want to have their privacy at the same time.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including an oven, a fridge with freezer area, a microwave, a filter coffee machine, a Moka, a kettle, a toaster, pots and kitchen utensils. The living area is equipped with a comfortable sofa, a dining table with chairs, a flat-screen satellite TV and an air conditioner.

The first bedroom is equipped with a double bed (160x200), bedside tables with night lamps, two wardrobes and a desk, while the second bedroom has two single beds. The full bathroom is equipped with a shower cubicle, a sink with cabinet and mirror, a bidet, a toilet and a washing machine. Two towels per person are provided and bed linen is changed weekly.

In the garden, available to guests, there is a barbecue, a table with chairs and two deck chairs for private use. Furthermore, there is free private parking near the house.

* Smoking is allowed on the terrace or outside, while smoking is not allowed inside.

* We ask our kind guests:

- to respect neighbors and behave calmly and discreetly, especially at night or during afternoon rest,
- for safety reasons, to turn off the air conditioning and the washing machine when they are not in the accommodation,
- to use the accommodation equipment with caution,
- to leave empty containers and to wash used cutlery and kitchen utensils,
- to declare to the owner any damage caused, which after a careful assessment of the damage, the owner will request payment of the costs in cash before departure,
- to indicate the expected departure time one day before departure to agree on the collection of the keys.

The neighborhood is extremely quiet, made up of a few private houses with gardens and surrounded by the splendid surrounding nature. Lovers of peace and nature will be thrilled by the meadows and walking paths nearby. The nearest grocery store is located in the village of Juricani, about 2.5 km away, while supermarkets and the center of Umag can be reached in just 10 minutes by car. The nearest rocky beach is approximately 8 km away, while the sandy beaches are at a distance of approximately 12 km. The use of the car is highly recommended for traveling in this area.

In the center of Umag we recommend visiting the museum, the aquarium, the cathedral, we recommend a walk along the famous Umag dam named “Diga”, to explore the narrow and interesting alleys of the old town of Umag, the new square embellished with a fountain, go shopping in the shops in the center or visit the stalls and the playground on the promenade for the delight of children. To buy more groceries, we recommend driving a few kilometers to the largest and most convenient supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar, Kaufland or Plodine in Umag.
There are several opportunities for recreation in the Umag area: tennis courts, the 18-hole Adriatic Golf Club, equestrian centers, sports centers for water sports enthusiasts where it is possible to practice water skiing, diving, boat rental, the adrenaline park Jangalooz for children with minigolf course near the Sol Stella Maris tourist village, night clubs, casino’, possibility of various boat or bus trips.
The area is full of renowned restaurants, simple restaurants, pizzerias, fast food restaurants, bars. Those who want to explore Istria will discover caves, ruins, numerous churches, museums and impressive marinas.
For non-beach days or evenings we recommend making unforgettable trips inland. The picturesque artists' village Grožnjan has a beautiful terrace from which you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Mirna river valley. Motovun, the typical medieval town located on a hill, known for the film festival, which has been taking place in late July for years. Livade, the town known for its white truffle found in the nearby woods. For lovers of astronomy and wishing to admire the sky and the stars, visit the Višnjan Astronomical Center, 30 km from Umag, by appointment. For cave enthusiasts, visit the small marvelous Baredine cave just 15 km from Umag. Don't miss the chance to visit Hum, the smallest city in the world just 60 km from Umag. Also interesting are the cities on the coast such as Pula, Rovinj and Poreč, as well as the Brijuni National Park which can also be visited with organized excursions. Various "Fish picnic" boat trips are organized, with picnics based on fish or meat during which you will have the opportunity to visit Rovinj and Poreč or Novigrad. Many tourists are interested in the wonderful day trip to Venice by hydrofoil. To the delight of children, visit the Istralandia water park 20 km from Umag and the Funtana "Dino park" theme park, where fun is guaranteed and makes the hearts of young and old beat faster. For gourmets, there are several options for tasting excellent Istrian wines, cheeses, olive oil, typical Istrian ham and much more.
