“Once you find the place, which is almost impossible, you will find that the garden is one unkept wilderness, with construction equipment lying around. On arrival we learnt that neither the lock in the front door, nor any of the locks in the three doors to the terras worked, nor did half the lights in the house. The living room and the kitchen were roomy and fine, though most of the furniture is cheap and outdated. The beds are of the cheap variety, and in one case resting on a pile of stones! The bathroom has a bath which is too small to lie in, and there is no-where to hang the showerhead! The terrace is fine with a nice view, though several outdoor chairs were broken and others were about to fall apart. We don't mind quaint or out-dated, but when things are broken and plain falling apart, as is the matter with almost everything in this house, it is a different matter. The owner, when you can get a hold of her, is not very helpful. She only speaks French, which makes communicating about an electricity failure, why the tv does not work, or when the kitchen stove runs out of gas (which all happened to us) rather tiresome. Finally, we had to pay the money-grabbing owner 50 Euro 'cleaning final', though we did not order it and left the house much cleaner that we found it!!! This was on top of the 50 Euro we had to pay for electricity, water & gas for 2 weeks. All in all, we had a nice vacation, despite the house, which almost ruined it for us. Look further!!!” “Once you find the place, which is almost impossible, you will find that the garden is one unkept wilderness, with construction equipment lying around.
