The villa is located in central Istria, so all the destinations of the Istrian peninsula are only a 30-minute drive away, and attractions near the villa are within a radius of 30 km:
1. the Brijuni National Park - the islands are a group of three larger and 12 smaller islands on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula, not far from Pula. The islands are known for their beautiful Mediterranean vegetation including oaks, huckleberries, bushes, pines and cypresses, some of which form a park. Furthermore, on Brijuni you will find a safari park with many exotic animals, herbivores and numerous cultural monuments of the Romans and Byzantines.
2. agritourism in the Istrian hinterland offers a wide selection of rural houses for visitors in search of peace and quiet surrounded by greenery. The accommodation offered by the houses is similar to the typical Istrian taverns. These restaurants offer various entertainment options including hunting. Locals will offer you Istrian prosciutto and cheese, and you can accompany the farmers during their harvest, help with the olive harvest or graze animals.
3. olive oil: Istria is characterised by a growing oil culture based on old traditions. Olive oil is part of Istrian gastronomy and, consequently, Mediterranean cuisine. Virgin olive oil has been produced in small cellars in Istria since ancient times. Istrian oil is fragrant and symbolises proper nutrition; there are several olive oil roads on the peninsula.
The pool can be heated from 27 April to 26 October. The pool can reach 26°C if it is covered when not in use.
