The village of Trittscheid is about 6 km from the district town of Daun with its shops, hospital, banks, supermarkets, cinema, Maare, ice cream parlors, cafes, restaurants, swimming pool, etc.
Near Trittscheid there are hiking trails (Eifelsteig), bike trails, donkey hikes (can be booked in town).
You can see other leisure activities and visits from the brochures placed in the apartments.
The Nürburgring can also be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
