Discover the perched village of Montfrrier sur Lez, between medieval alleyways, small squares and French gardens. Take time for a historic stroll through this idyllic village where vineyards, vegetation and mountains meet. Built on a 150-metre-high volcano and surrounded by nature reserves, the village shows remarkable remnants of its past. Visit the Romanesque church of Saint-Etienne from the 11th century or the old castle from the 17th century. At the top of the old village, the 180° view is impressive. From the terraces of the old castle, you can admire the Pic Saint-Loup, the Hortus and even the foothills of the Cévennes on the north side. On the south side, it is the blue of the Mediterranean. The mild Occitan climate and the beauty of the Languedoc beaches invite you to discover seaside resorts such as Palavas-les-Flots with its pretty canal and small cable car, Carnon-Plage with its lively marina, or Frontignan-Plage and Valras-Plage.
