This charming and traditional cottage has been beautifully renovated. The inspiration for many of John Bauer's paintings came from these gorgeous surroundings. The beautiful town of Gränna located on the lake Vättern is just 15 minutes away. The house is in a secluded location with a forest and wildlife nearby and is perfect for those who love pristine nature. You can go fishing in lake Bunn located nearby, where there is a jetty and a boat. It is possible to rent a motor here. You can take a ferry to Visingsö. Jönköping, with the exhibition centre Elmia, is located at a distance of 37 km, while lake Sommen is 38 km away.

    “Schönes, geräumiges Haus. Die Schlafzimmer (beide oben) haben recht niedrige Decken. Kamin und TV im Wohnzimmer sowie ein großer Esstisch. Bad und Küche recht neu und gut ausgestattet (Waschmaschine, Trockner und Spülmaschine sowie ausreichend Geschirr). Decken und Böden aus Holz, meist weiß gestrichen. Haus war "recht" sauber. Da das Haus am Ende des Urlaubs entweder selbst geputzt werden muss oder man gegen eine Zahlung von 60,00 Euro (!) es putzen lassen kann - liegt es natürlich auch mit am Vormieter wie sauber es ist ... Einige Flächen (besonders oben) hatten wohl schon länger keinen Lappen gesehen. Die hellen Möbel (weiße Couch und Sessel und weiße Tagesdecken auf den Betten) sind leider auch schon ein wenig "schmuddelig". Herrliche und idyllische Lage abseits der Straße, nur durch einen holprigen Weg zu erreichen. Gartenmöbel (4 Pers.) und Grill vorhanden. Das Haus ist auch für Hundebesitzer geeignet, pflegeleicht durch die Holzböden, kein Verkehr - es ist aber nicht eingezäunt. Der Bootsanleger ist leider weiter weg, d.h. man muss schon mehr als 400 m zurücklegen, um hinzukommen! Das ist eigentlich das einzig wirklich Negative! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis aber voll okay!”
