The half-timbered country house is situated on a hill in the Baumberge mountains. You will spend the night in the restored "Old Bakehouse". Furnished with antique farmhouse furniture, it provides a special cosiness. Enjoy the view of the rose garden with historic English roses and rare country roses and the wide hilly landscape of the Baumberge. The country house is located in the countryside between Coesfeld and Billerbeck. The peaceful surroundings are dominated by meadows and fields. The Merfelder Bruch with its famous wild horses and the Longinusturm (highest point in Münsterland) are only 15 kilometres away. The mighty cathedral of Billerbeck is approx. 6 km away. The city centre of Coesfeld is approx. 5.5 km away. A special tip for culture lovers is the excellent concert theatre in Coesfeld.The popular 100 Castles Route and the entrance to the approx. 4,500 km long Münsterland cycle path network is approx. 1 km from your accommodation. The "Gute-Laune-Landhaus" breakfast is not included in the price, but can be booked on site.Enjoy home-baked bread, eggs from the farm's free-range chickens and jams made from fruit from the farm garden. Breakfast is served in the flat. In summer you can also have breakfast in the rose garden.Hiking riders will find beautiful riding trails in the surrounding area. Horse boxes, paddocks and open stables are available for guest horses

Your temporary home to feel good! Situated in the midst of the green hills of the Baumberge, it offers all the amenities for a carefree and relaxing stay, without forgoing the extraordinary ambience of a century-old half-timbered farm. With its old beamed ceiling and antique farmhouse furniture, a four-poster bed and an electric fireplace in the sleeping area, it provides a special cosiness and the wood-burning stove in the "Upkamer", the former "fine" parlour of the farmers, creates a comfortable and cosy atmosphere.The historic, fully functional oven in the entrance area, which gives this unique domicile its name, is something very special and conjures up wonderfully rustic bread.There is also a kitchenette equipped with attention to detail, including a dishwasher, microwave, oven and toaster.In the modern bathroom with hairdryer, towels, soap and shower gel, there is a spacious shower with floor-level access; a nostalgic washstand completes the inviting appearance.And to the rear, overlooking the paddock and rolling hills, is the rose garden for your exclusive use, with historic and old farm roses as well as lounging and seating furniture.The amenities also include central heating, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi. Cars can be parked in our courtyard. Pets are allowed on request.

If required, two additional beds can be set up in the living room for € 10.00 / night each. Breakfast can be booked by arrangement.
