Bømlo is the perfect holiday destination for adults as much as children, and for fishers, mountain hikers and tourists that want a good starting point for sightseeing around Western Norway. This charming holiday cottage has a fine view facing a lake rich on fish. Large fields, forests and birds characterise the area. You can fish for trout free of charge in the lake. Walk to the fjord in 10-12 minutes via a nature trail. Here you can do inshore fishing. A hiking map of signed trails, that will take you to mountain tops with spectacular view, is included. Approx 130 meters from the cottage you have a great view of the fjord. The living room has comfortable furniture and a wood-burning stove. Firewood is included. Washing machine in the basement, access from outside. Approx. 8 km from the house is a fine beach with shallow water. Some Norwegian and several hundred European channels.

    “Offensichtlich haben unsere Vormieter nur oberflächlich gereinigt. In den Schlafzimmern waren unter den Betten noch Schmutz und Fussel. Der Kühlschrank und Kühltruhe wurden gar nicht gereinigt ebenso die Schränke in denen Lebensmittel gelagert waren (abgelaufener Zucker und Brotmehl befanden sich noch im Schrank). Stattdessen lag noch gefrorener Fisch in der Kühltruhe. Weiter bräuchte die Küche ein neues Topfset, da alle Topfdeckel defekt waren. Was sehr unpraktisch ist, das Toilette und Dusche nicht getrennt sind. Es wäre schön wenigsten einen Vorhang oder kleine Glaswand anzubringen Raum um die Sachen beim Duschen abzulegen. Mein Eindruck von diesem Haus war, dass es sehr abgewohnt ist und nur noch vermietet wird, aber nicht mehr repariert wird. (Defekte Fenster, schmutzige Fenster, Zimmertüren gehen schwer, viele Spinnweben)
    Es wurde hier auf einen See zum Angeln hingewiesen, dieser ist aber schwer zugänglich, da schon der Bootssteg eingebrochen ist. Sollte doch der Vermieter bzw. Eigentümer in Ordnung bringen.
