Thank you for your reservation.
 Tranquility, careful decoration and magnificent scenery, this is our home on the doorstep of the beautiful and historic city of Amarante.
 We would like it to be an excellent starting point to discover our beautiful region.  Here we leave you some suggestions for planning your trip.
 We are located 5 minutes from the main national motorway junction which can take you to Porto, Guimarães, Braga, Vila Real, Bragança, Chaves and many other cities of great historical and tourist interest.  You can use direct public transport for some of them.
 Amarante is our city.  Small, with a very rich historical center, crossed by the Tâmega River, cradle of conventual sweets and the center of a unique wine region, the Vinho Verde region.
 And because we talk about wine, of course you cannot miss the Douro Valley region, a scenic treasure that is the origin of Port Wine.
 If you are a nature lover, I have two suggestions for national parks: Gerês and Alvão.  And, of course, the mountainous complex that will be here in front, in the landscape of the terrace: the Marão.
 But we will have an opportunity to talk about all of this.

    “Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad, waarbij we zelfs vijgen uit eigen tuin hebben gekregen! de lieve katjes en hondjes op het terrein gaven ons een heel warm en welkom gevoel. Het is een fijn huis met een prachtig uitzicht, rustige , landelijke omgeving. voldoende ruimte, de slaapkamer heefteen fijne ligging doordat de zon niet direct er in schijnt. In Amarante zijn alle noodzakelijke voorzieningen aanwezig. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.”

    “Je ne recommanderais pas cette maison. Nous sommes déçus. Positiv: Maison avec terrasse et une grande pièce avec vues panoramiques sur les montagnes donnant sur un beau jardin bien entretenu. Propriétaire accueillant puis très discret. Negativ: Propreté vraiment insuffisante : frigo avec odeur nauséabonde de pourriture, toiles d'araignée dans la grande salle, mur sale dans la salle de bain, manque de balayage sous les meubles. Des livres partout donnant un aspect étouffant. De plus , présence de 4 chats sauvages envahissants.”

    “Sehr ruhiges Haus, mit Super-Terrasse und Ausblick auf das Tal. Immer wieder. Positiv: Jorge, der Eigentümer. Sehr hilfsbereiter, netter Mann, der uns mit seinen Tipps sehr geholfen hat.
    So haben wir zB. zur Fahrt nach Porto den Zug nehmen können. Negativ: Nichts”
