Holiday home with private pool located at the foot of the Vercors massif. The house benefits from a rural location in the Drôme, on the edge of the old village of Cléon dAndran. The stone-built property stands on a 3,000 m² plot with a sheltered pool and a sun-drenched terrace with dining area and plancha or barbecue. Vaulted ceilings and stone walls emphasise the charming living ambience inside the house, whose furnishings are a harmonious blend of old and new. The living room is very inviting and cosy, and the dining room in connection with the kitchen opens up to the outside area. The house promises its guests plenty of peace and relaxation. It is located on the border between the Ardèche and the Vaucluse, between Dieulefit, Nyons and the Rhone Valley. Residents enjoy a marvellous view of lavender fields, the Col de la Chaudière and Les Trois Becs. Active holidaymakers are well catered for here: tennis 700 m, the 18-hole Domaine de la Valdaine golf course 16 km, equestrian centre 3 km, the ropes course near Marsanne 9 km, the internationally renowned climbing area in Saoû, the Saoû forest or canoeing on the river. In 2017, the Drôme was classified as a "Destination Vélo" due to its good cycling conditions. Children will love the bird park in Upie, the Aquarium des Tropiques near Allex and the crocodile farm in Pierrelatte. Montélimar is 20 km away and has an animal park, beautiful gardens, the famous Palais des Bonbons et du Nougat confectionery shop and the high-altitude Château des Adhémar, which can also be easily reached by funicular railway. You will be welcomed by a couple who look after the garden and pool. The couple live on the neighbouring property but cannot see your area.
