Holiday home with a garden, on a large site with a heritage-protected parish house, in the village centre of Kasnevitz
This holiday house provides 150m² of living space and is on a fenced site of 1100m², in the centrally located village Kasnevitz, not far from the town Putbus. It is away from tourist masses, but near the Baltic Sea in the charming landscape of the Südost-Rügen biosphere reserve, inviting you to spend a leisurely holiday close to nature and in a historical setting. The house is on the second row behind the historical parish house, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful properties on the island of Rügen. The wonderful parish house garden has a modern and family-friendly holiday house, which replaced the original stables in 2009/2010. It is suitable for a maximum of six people.
The open living room with an integrated kitchen is generous. The fireplace stove integrated into the living room exudes a cosy atmosphere. Satellite TV and wireless Internet access are available. The kitchen is equipped with a stove with a ceramic hob, an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a toaster and a kettle, as well as a dishwasher. There is also a big dining table with chairs on the ground floor. The lower floor is barrier-free with non-slip tiles and therefore suitable for the disabled. The house with an open layout has a cosy bedroom on the lower level with a pull-out bed (HEMNES IKEA day bed, 168cm wide, 211cm long) and a bathroom with a shower, washbasin, mirror and WC. The upper floor has a gallery and two further bedrooms, one with a double bed (180 x 200cm) and the other with two single beds (90 x 200cm) pushed together. The whole house has gas central heating and the whole lower floor has under-floor heating.
The living room opens onto a wonderful, idyllic terrace that cannot be looked into. The garden is shared with the owner. There are two parking spaces right next to the house, free of charge. Next to the house there is a space for parking bicycles on site. The parish house has a washing machine, which you can use on request for a fee. Local tourist tax is obligatory in Putbus, to be paid directly to the owner.
It is about 3km to the centre of Putbus, with shopping facilities and a train station, as well as restaurants within 200 metres. The Baltic Sea is about 5km away. You have access to the Greifswalder Bodden about 3km away. It is a wonderful starting point for cycling and hiking tours to Lauterbach, Vilm and the Putbus castle garden.
Winter walks along the icy bodden coast, spring forests with carpets of wood anemone and corydalis, colourful summers with fields lined with corn poppy, camomile and cornflowers, and stormy autumn days with flocks of cranes in the sky and a crackling fire in the fireplace – every season here has its own special charm.
